Subject of the Data Privacy Policy

Subject of the Data Privacy Policy is personal data. According to § 3 paragraph 1 BDSG personal data refers to specific data about the personal or objective affairs of a specified or specifiable natural person. This includes information, e.g. name, postal address, email address or telephone number, but also usage data which can be associated with a specific person. Usage data is data which is required in order to use our website, e.g. information about start, end and extent of the usage of our website and login data.

Collection and use of your data

Automated data collection

For technical reasons your web browser transmits data automatically when accessing the websites of ADDACT. Following data are being saved seperately from other data that you might be tramitting also: date and times of access, browser type / version, used operating system, URL of previously visited websites, amount of sent data. These data are exclusively saved for technical reasons and won't be associated with a specific person at any time.

Data entered by the user

You need to login in order to use all advantages of ADDACT. Therefor you need to enter your name, your full address data, your email adress, your age, your user name as well as a password. These data are neccessary in order to set up and manage a user account for you and for you to be able to use all features of ADDACT. Last but not least ADDACT also needs these and possibly further data to be able to respond to wishes, questions and critics.

Optional data

Moreover ADDACT provides the opportunity to personalize your profile. For this purpose you can set information about your name, sex, date of birth or place of residence. Further you can upload a photo of yourself to your profile page. These information are voluntary and not neccessary to register on Please note that all your voluntarily provided data and photos on your profile are also accessible by other users. That is why you should choose wisely what settings put into your profile and therefore share with other users.

On our websites ADDACT offers you discussion forums or other interactive sections or services in which you or third parties can create, set or save any content, messages, comments, materials or other elements (“Interactive sections”). If you are using an interactive section you need to appreciate that these sections are publicly available and that all personal information you set or provide on login can be seen by others. We cannot controll how these information will be used by other users on our websites. We can't prevent that particularly unwanted messages will be sent to you. Usage profiles

When visiting the website ADDACT creates usage profiles using pseudonyms for the purposes of advertising, market research or for the needs-orientated design of the website. Thereby solely usage data is used. These are particularly information about start, end and extent of the use of our website and similar anonymous or pseudonymous data. We offer you the possibility to login to our service via Facebook-Connect. An extra registration therefore is not neccessary. On login you will be forwarded to the Facebook page where you can login with your user info. This is how your Facebook profile and our service are linked. By linking we automatically receive the following information from Facebook Inc.: public profile and email address.

Of this data we only use your name, your email address, your date of birth and the profile picture. These information are mandatory to identify you for the conclusion of contract.

Google Login

We also offer you the possibility to register for the internal area of ADDACT via “Google Connect” using data saved in your Google account. Data will be transmitted to us via Google only after your prior consent. We then create a new user account on ADDACT with the transmitted data. The data will be transmitted to us only once. There will be no permanent link between the user accounts on Google and ADDACT.

Disclosure of data

For processing payments ADDACT passes on your payment information to Wirecard AG (Einsteinring 35, 85609 Aschheim, Germany) if payment is made via credit card or debit (both Wirecard).

In principle your personal data will only be passed on without your explicit prior consent in the following cases:

If used for informing illegal platform use or needed for prosecution, personal data will be passed on to the prosecution authorities and possibly harmed third parties. However, this only happens if there are concrete indications for illegal / abusive behavior. A transfer can also take place for enforcing the terms of use or other agreements. ADDACT is also legally bound to disclose information to certain public authorities on request. These are law enforcement agencies, authorities which pursue administrative offenses that entail a fine and finance authorities.

Occasionally we rely on the service delivery of external companies and service providers bound by contract, for example advertising (only if you explicitly agreed beforehand), customer service as well as payment processing (credit card etc.). In such cases information will be passed on to those companies or individuals to allow further processing.

In the course of further development of our business, it is possible that the structure of ADDACT GmbH might change by modification of legal structure and/or establishment, acquisition or selling of subsidiary companies, business units or elements. During these transactions customer information will be passed on along with the transferring part of the business. With every transmission of personal data to third parties in the described manner, ADDACT will ensure that this happens in accordance with this Data Privacy Policy and the appropriate Data Protection Act.

With this newsletter ADDACT informs you about artists, events and features on, surveys, new products and services as well as other information that might be interesting for you. Website improvement

Google Analytics

ADDACT uses Google Analytics which is a web analysis service by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are saved on your computer and enable the analysis of how the website is being used by you. The information about your usage of the website (incl. your shortened IP address) which is created by cookies is transmitted to and saved on a Google server in the USA. Google will use the information to analyse your usage of the website, to assemble reports of website activities for the website provider and to provide more services related to the usage of the website and the internet. Google will also pass on these information to third parties if prescibed by law or if those third parties process the data on behalf of Google.

Social plugins

ADDACT uses plugins on their website such as social network plugins like by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA, by Twitter Inc., 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco CA 94107, USA as well as Google+ by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, California, 94043, USA. You can recognize the plugins by their particular network logo, for example complemented by a pictogram of a clenched fist with a thumb up or the addition “Recommendation”, “Like” or “Comment”. The “like” button transmits several data to the social network. These are amongst others: date and time of website visit, URL of currently visited website, URL of the previously visitied website, used browsers, used operating system, IP address of the user.

It can't be ruled out that network providers might associate you with your network account, if your using the Facebook, Twitter or Google+ pages at the same time as and are logged in there. If you are using plugin features (e.g. clicking the “Like” button, leaving a comment), those information will also be transmitted to the specific social network by your browser and might be saved there. Deletion of your data

If your data will be deleted if it isn't neccessary for the stated purposes anymore. If you delete your user account via email to, your complete profile will be irrevocably deleted. If data needs to be saved for legal reasons, it will be disabled. In this case the data won't be accessible for further use anymore.

Right to information & right of rectification
